Chassis designations usually refer to the chassis tube diameter used in the manufacture of the kart. For example 30/32 indicates 30mm diameter tube for lateral chassis members and 32mm for the outside or longitudinal chassis members. The type of chassis you purchase will be a function of your body weight and the class you decide to compete. The bigger the chassis diameter the stiffer the chassis.
